BLOODY NARNA WRLD
Ok, its friday, I finally feel in the festive spirit. Right now the Christmas Special of Grime Butlins is exporting, and I've done a load of christmas shopping and today was my last day at work for a few weeks!
We start our re cap with TP's house party. it was rally good fun, had a nice little wave and met a lot of new people.
I was chilling with the homie Mo and Obie, Teeps dog.
I met Paige, and she was like 'are you Sam who writes the Wicked-Land blog?' haha how fucking cool is that? hold tight paige, wicked-lander from daaaay.
teeps had this little wooden thing coming of the ceiling near the stairs. when i was drunk i found this so so funny, and now in the sober light of day i don't really know why. it was fully cracking me up, i think it was because it was completely useless and pointless.
you're right. why bother paying rent AND road tax. stick it to the fucking man. you pay your road tax? you have the right to sleep in your car and nobody can tell you otherwise. fuck the world and its conformist rules and restraints, get your head down bro, I'll catch to you in the morning.
This is good. This is downstairs when you go in the building to go into Darryl's flat. there are some really funny little points in here. My main gripe is I don't think reading a sign is going to make people not slip over. nobody has ever slipped over for a lol. ironically I fell down Darryls stairs a few days later. seriously, that really happened.
You like these turquoise patent slip ons with a little emblem on them? pretty crazy right? id love to see someone wearing these and looking good. Im not saying it can't be done, I just want to see it.
I really really enjoyed eating these things. Tesco pasta pots have been THE wicked-land snack since day 1 but this creamy banoffee pie flavour milkshake was a fucking dream. for a moment when it first gushed into my mouth there were no such things as war and aids. poverty didn't exist and there was no such thing as 'the unobtainable'. life was fucking blinding for a minute.
Bird man is going in, doing his little shubbz. quickly feeding a few pigeons. why would anyone feed pigeons? weird innit. hold tight ducks, because you are a bird i enjoy feeding.
this dinner i made was blinding. the chicken was pure moist and tender and the potatoes were really special too. i boiled them, drained them and then fried them a little with loads of olive oil and seasoning. they were all crispy and spicy. I need to eat more new potatoes, I forget how nice they actually are.
My man was sat in the highcross on the little leather chair things, looking at this page for time. he like what them leggings do innit. nah you do your thing man, get yours.
darryl made a HUGE statement by burning a train ticket. public transport satire? i don't know what is even real anymore. is this good content? make up your own back story for this picture.
I met Darryls new flatmate Scott last night. He seemed like a cool guy and then he absent-mindidly checked the time on his phone. this flashed up as his background. I love frasier and the fact he had this as his background made me think 'yeah, you know what? he IS the best person ever.' it was one of those moments where i instantly felt an affinity to a relative stranger. good work Scott.
Last night a bag of guys took over twitter posting remixes of Ghst Wrld's name. at one point about 15/20 people were going in, from all around Leicester, a few in other cities in the UK and a couple of people from America. It was very fun.
I think now, with like the X factor sob stories and males barely being men with eyebrow plucking and fake tanning the public have a warped perception of how its acceptable to act. Like take this guy. fully grown man walking down the street dressed as a dinosaur. Is it ok to act like that purely to get attention from other people? would you want that attention from other people? In the early 00's we (As Leicester) made a pact that all these cunts would be sanctioned to one spot, so that normal people could just choose to ignore it and walk by. its called the clock tower. Get the fuck back there you dickhead.
Fucking hell it gets better doesn't it? one leather glove, blue nylon dreadlocks and a YMCMB fitted hat? these are the things i fucking dream of. I thoroughly applaud this guy because he goes hard. he really wants it. Its not for attention, this is just his way of saying 'can i do me please?'
Im a guy for shorts. Im a guy for shorts in cold weather. I champion this shit and say, no! let your legs be cold, but free. what I don't champion is wearing high tops with jean shorts, a t-shirt and a scarf for a laugh. NOT COOL. NOT WICKED-LAND COOL!
this lads legs were mental. his thighs were the exact same width and length as his lower legs. the four different segments of his legs were identical, like a massive 4 finger kit hat wrapped in red demin.
Thats all Ive got for you! I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as i enjoyed writing it. A bumper edition of wicked-land fun to see you into your christmas period! I'll be back over the weekend with some more stuff. tatty bye!

MIXED FUN
HOOOOOYUUUUR!!!!! its the weekend again, and as ever we get it popping with a fresh serving of dickhead land!
I met Kama to watch the Liverpool vs West Ham game at varsity. on the stool next to where we were sat someone had left a brand new hard back copy of George Best's book. Kama asked if it was mine before saying he was keeping it for his dad's christmas present. wavy wavy wavy
later that day Nat made some gully faced bangers and mash. It was so so perfect. its been a while since she made me a nice dinner, I really enjoyed it.
this made me laugh. Tom Daley is one of those kind of guilty pleasures for girls innit? check out his calendar with him posing off all boy bandish soaking wet and that hahahaha the picture is so mentally photoshopped as well, its odd.
If you do wanna get yours it was at that calendar stall downstairs in the highcross.
I like these chilling guys so much. just relax. stop moving so quick. this guy was just sat in the shopping centre on a chair arms folded with his eyes shut. why has he gone all that way to do something that his home is tailor made for? so weird and cool.
AYYYY LERK ARAY! DEEEERD PIIIIJEEEEEN!!!
some international fan-ship from Dear Shay, who lives in twitter and North Carolina. I wish i drunk tea so i could get a mug printed up with this on it.
one of those panpipe guys was in town in his traditional get up, with the addition of a santa hat. I told this picture and he literally stopped playing to give me a bollocking. He didn't ask me to delete the photo, he told me that if you take a photo of anyone without their permission anywhere in the world its a £10,000 fine. He was just rambling on and didn't give me a chance to point out the multiple things that were wrong with his argument and point. he was also saying that if the photo gets taken it could end up on a website somewhere. -___-
This girl had the best box top I've ever seen, it was so perfectly crafted.
I couldn't resist getting another photo of him. deluded fat loser.
Darryl DJ'd at 'Ghost' last night and a few of us rolled. Frank couldn't believe his luck when his favourite DJ started playing all the best songs made by computers ever.
We had a good night. I walked home very pissed and threw a full can of tango against this shutter. It got lodged in a gap at the top of the shutter perfectly straight and obviously didn't come back down. I was so so happy with this. Me and Frank both saw it happen and flipped out, it was a great moment.
This was in the window of that second hand book shop on Narborough road. i thought these caricatures we're so so good and really look like all the people who they are meant to look like. sorry about the shit photo. don't you agree though? how sick
and we will end things with a nice new throw up that popped up down on Narborough road earlier this week. Thanks a lot for reading, have a great weekend!

MAINLY IN TWOS
Imagine you're drowning. flopping about in a big ocean of mediocrity. It's consuming you, and its too powerful for you to break free from. weighty mediocre water is filling your lungs. you're panicking. All of a sudden a huge hand comes and scoops you out of said pool. As the hand rises away from the ocean and after a moment of spluttering you are sitting like a calm puppy in its huge, fleshy palm. Enjoy the warmth, it is your new home.
The ocean represents your life. The hand represents Wicked-Land.
OK! So have Frijj milkshakes just got a lot smaller? Ironically its kind of hard to tell by the one in my hand, but the chocolate one in the background would suggest so right? still 99p so I'm guessing this is the new version? Not very cool is it?
outside some house on Hopefield Road there were a load of naked barbie dolls on the wall. Is that a statement then? are the people who live in this house and presumably put the dolls there hoping to put a point across? If so it has been lost on me. I don't understand this kind of annoying beg behaviour.
Last friday night Kyle Miller had a night in Sophbeck. me and Darryl went along and did a Grime / Dubstep / Trap set. It was such good fun, Cooper and Kyle also played and shut down the party, it was such a laugh, the crowd were into it. everyone was talking about it all weekend.
It pisses me off really because it is a glimpse of what Sophbeck could be. Remember when they used to have the Kontakt dub step nights there when dub step was really becoming popular? everyone who went was so passionate about the music and had a real connection. Most of the time they just pump out some meaningless theme tunes to people being off their faces. I hope Kyle does it again because it was a very special night.
I don't know why either of these humans are pulling these faces.
John's brief stop off in the UK came to an end the Thursday after this Saturday so the night acted as a leaving party with a surprisingly good turn out from the gentlemen, it was a strong team. John was up to his old tricks smoking inside the venue loooooool bun your rules MAN IS OUT HERE
Ben wasn't happy with my slagging off of crossword puzzles last week and let it be known. By all means text in to the Wicked-Land hotline number if you have any issues and I will post them up. Thanks to Ben I gave crossword puzzles a little more thought and concluded they are still shit. sorry bro.
Some new burger from Burger King was on the TV the other day. I was a perfect 50/50 split between happiness and sorrow because it looked delicious but given the fact the closest Burger King is at Meridian i'll probably never taste this. It looked better on the TV, the red and white cheese on top of each other here make me feel a bit weird.
Bradley had a quick implant and joined the beard gang. what do you think? Im not too sure to be honest, Definitely not in this colour. leave the oversized facial hair to Callum. Warm though, if nothing else.
Aaron Clayton drew this of me! nice innit? It was out of the blue a real nice surprise, so i thought I would post it here so I have it archived forever.
I took this picture of this bloke in a guns and roses sweatshirt and the more I've looked at it as the week has gone on the less I've known what to say about it. the more normal its looked. I think it was more to do with the way he was walking, just with his hands resting on his waist, thumbs in pockets.
For reasons unbeknown to myself I ended up on Mosh on tuesday. There were a fair few of us out, a nice strong team on 7. Look at Franks amazing little face in this picture. looool 'The spanish twitter gremlin, Internet wind up merchant.'
They have these plastic glasses with a shot glass in the middle, for Jagerbombs. pretty nifty right? you should have seen the drinks they were pouring out. we all know Mosh is a joke, but they were serving Jagerbombs with more Jager than ...bomb. the Red Bull wasn't reaching the top of the shot part of this glass. whats the fucking point.
Some of the regulars were just begging attention sitting on the floor in a circle for no reason with their hands up. Brad joined in. one thing I've learnt of late is to just confront ridiculous beg behaviour by imitating. this was you show them just how ridiculous their behaviour looks.
Just when we thought we had won the war on these guys and Brad started to walk off they told him he won the game. They flipped it on us and done it. fucked us up.
Its a fucking weird place isn't it? I only ever go there once in a blue moon and I'm always astounded with what i see. Simultaneously whilst this guy in a bright red shirt w/ novelty braces and tie was crying his eyes out this pissed up girl was telling me I poured a drink over her head. I was sober and did no such thing. fucking mesmerising cave of shite wonders.
This couple were hard at it on the sofas by the downstairs dance floor for a good 20 minutes. TAKE THE TING HOME BRO
casper the friendly grubb right? I was jamming in town and spotted this in Topshop. Frank always says 'Chill' I thought it was pretty shower faced.
Thats all for this weeks wicked-land. Interesting things are a bit thin on the ground, its so fucking cold and i feel like any part of my body could drop off at any point. Im spending an awful lot of free time in my house at the minute, and I can't imagine that would make for a thrilling blog experience. Either way, thanks for reading!
