EXHIBITION WEEKENDER SPECIAL

Hey, what's up everyone? The sun is out and weather is nice! I think this is actually summer, it seems to be here for a little while. On Narborough Road they are celebrating by opening a new barbecue chicken place where R-Code used to be. I'll be interested to see what this is saying once it opens.

Goons were posted up in town just controlling the strip and overseeing everything. I love seeing these old sikh men about, such a sick life. I'd love to know more about the dynamics of the group.

My show was on Friday night! I wanna thank everyone who came down, it was great to see so many people, and thank you to everyone who bought something to take home. I had a lovely night.

Strawbs bought the first piece, one of the dancing bears. These went well!

Natalie made a tower of WL cupcakes especially for the day, and a loud of meringues. everyone was chomping pizza and cupcakes and drinking a couple of cold ones.

Some strangers shown up! There was a fair few to be fair. I had this wall with all my polaroids in from about 6 years ago, it was cool to finally show them to people. I've never scanned then in before so not many people have seen them.

Saturday I went to Birmingham with Teeps and Amir. At a toll stop they had this massive cone that you pulled up next to in your car and throw change into. I'd never seen one before but there was something so childish and funny about it. Amir was pure buzzing and he was laughing when he was chucking this change into it it set us all off.

Boydem tryna lock Teeps off but they can't knock the hustle

Imagine being one of them daytime slumpers. Like I'll fall asleep on a park in the sun every now and again but I can't imagine just crashing out on a bench.

We whipped round the bullring quickly. The architecture in Selfridges is so astonishing, really nice and smooth. I Like shit like this, all white and clean and clinical.

I filmed a freestyle for a youtube channel called JDZ media. It's a Birmingham based channel similar to SBTV in terms of it's kind of content. I'm really happy to finally get on the channel, the video should be out soon!

Frank popped in to say hello on the wrestling the other night.

We had a lovely little barbecue at my mums the other day for her birthday, it was pure sunny and all the family came over to chill. My mum went in with the food, pure real actual grown up food.

If I was bound to a wheelchair, I probably wouldn't put one of those rainbow spinning things on the back. Or wear a cowboy hat. I swear I see people in cowboy hats every fucking day.

We had a lovely little podcast without Frank. We will be glad to have his spanish gibbering back next week but until then here is a photo of where the magic happens.

oi Harper was shotting bricks off the £10 tesco mobile at half time at football last night real recognise real on 100

I had some stuff from well baked again. They do these sick things called 'Reesios' that are an oreo opened up with a reek's peanut butter cup in the middle and then dipped in chocolate. It's so fucked, one of the nicest things I've ever tasted.

So that's everything for the week. Max is sat next to me and he is making me really nervous and is annoying me. If the latter half of this post is laden with mistakes then blame his distraction. He is sat next to me putting a biro on my ear. Bye!

FRIENDS ARE BACK, CONSUMING

G's up, hoes doooooown! IM SO EXCITED BECAUSE THE EXHIBITION IS TOMORROW AND IVE WORKED REALLY HARD ON IT AND IT'S GOING TO BE ONE BIG WICKEDLAND PARTY!!!

I kinda wanna do this whole post in caps locks now, I wish I had the bollocks to become one of those caps lock guys. I find it so funny and effective. I went round Nats the other day with all my cousins and their girlfriends for a big indian feast. She went in, stupidly and made everything for samosas to chicken tikka to bombay potatoes to lamb bhuna. It was intense.

We had a bit of a booze up and chatted the night away and all put some weight on. It was great.

Later that night I rolled with a couple of the goons to the Leicester Uni summer festiball. Tim Westwood hosted the RnB room and it was so sick all night. DJ One F went on after westwood and upped the levels again, he was so good.

ayayayayaya

Jamie Mills was down for the Saturday so I met up with her and Nat and went to TwoTen. It was great to see her, she has moved to London now and was telling us funny stories about her life down there.

Yo stick your fancy tropical weather up your arse, in Braunstone we paint palm trees onto our houses.

KYLE'S BACK ON ROOOOAD!!!! HE CAME BACK ON THURSDAY AND ITS SO SICK

We were chilling round Dan's and we all went for a little walk so he could spend money in various fast food places.

Sunday a load of us got together and went to The Old Horse to some sunday lunch in celebration. It was nice that so many people made the effort, I spent the whole day with a load of people I don't get to see that much anymore, it was lovely. The food was top notch as well, big up The Old Horse.

I had an whippy ice cream for the first time in ages. They're good aren't they? Me and Max stood still on Vicky park and ate them watching the race for life girls, racing for life.

Have you seen these buses they have in Oadby now? Sapphire, a subsidiary branch of Arriva are these super baller buses with like phone chargers and little tables and shit like that. I think it's a bit embarrassing. Oadby isn't that far from town, it's not like the people using the bus can't wait to send an email and really, buses are not baller shit and shouldn't be painted up to be so. They're basic aren't they? the lowest form of public transport. You can't polish a turd.

Brothers in arms. Hof and Kelly's baby is due in a couple weeks, how exciting is that? In other news I tried a bit of Kyle's Desperado and it was delicious. I don't like beer at all but I was very impressed with that indeed.

These two guys had came out in the same outfit head to toe with slight colour variations. Why do people do this? Me and Jamie used to wear some similar shit, but nothing on this scale. One of them is biting the other's style.

As a precautionary measure this guy filled his bag with branches to stop other people looking like him. Great originality. Dogshit practicality.

Wonderful, between today and yesterday that's me all up to date with Wickedland! The exhibition is tomorrow 7pm-9pm (check the flyer at the top of this page) it would be cool to see YOU there! cheers for coming by!

NEW OLD OBSERVATIONS

WASSUP WICKEDLANDERS!? Here are a few pictures I collected before I went away to Turkey that I meant to post and never got around to doing it.

My mum sent me this, the girls from the voice holding up some WickedLand W's. Thanks for the support, ladies.

I had that insane burger from Jones's again. *J Spades voice* I love it, for real, I love it.

Cocaine cowboys just patrolling the high street. I think their has been a rise in these cowboy guys in the last 6 months. Maybe a new branch of humans like the matrix mandem.

Chill. Why bother going home to sleep when you can just sleep on the busiest street in the whole city? What's the point anyway?

People in Clarendon Park are so rich they just leave car windows open. Nobody will steal your car because everybody who lives up there has endless free money anyway so chill.

I went to see Jimmy Carr with Max and Tom. This really does seem like ages ago now haha! It was great, he was really funny. He encourages heckling and these two losers wouldn't shut the fuck up the whole way through, it was painful.

I caught the new mental (whose name has left me at the moment in time) shopping the other week! He was in wardrobe having a little browse. He didn't get anything in the end.

Toddlers eating maryland casually. I wonder if food is to a toddlers body what knowledge is to their mind at this age. ...Fuck me, I read that back and realised how sensible and boring I am these days. Who gives a fuck, maryland is delicious.

That's all I had for you. Tomorrow I'll post this weeks weekly stuff. Have a good day!

THE TURKISH SANDWICH TUTORIAL

Ok so obviously I couldn't breeze through Turkey without making a quick sandwich for the roads. Here is how it went, step by step.

I got some fresh, seeded bread from the supermarket. It was turbo povery over there so 3 6 inch fresh rolls were like 1tl (28p)

I kicked things off with a little mayo. Sandwich glue.

Next I had some salami. I love the really overly pink one that obviously has colourings in that we don't allow in Britain. Delicious, synthetic meat.

They had these nondescript chilli Doritos that were really nice. Just like a slightly spicier cool original. I got a few of them in on the action.

You know that ham they have with the little jalapeƱos in? I got a pack of that and put some of that in. What a great person the bloke who came up with that is.

Some sliced gherkins as ever, literally the most delicious thing you can put in any sandwich.

Tinned sweetcorn. I'd go as far as to say this is the second most delicious thing you can put in any sandwich. I love it when it's fresh and kind of crunchy.

I had these cheese slices that were like fake Dairylea and the texture was really odd. they were really sticky, almost like they had half melted. Good for going in a sandwich!

I picked up a little pot of this homemade chilli sauce from a place down the road from our hotel that sold kebabs. It was really nice, it was kind of tomato based but very, very hot. I put a good serving on the roof of the sandwich and spread it so it soaked in.

These were really good. Right now I'm pretty hungry and wish I had them back in my life. That's how the sandwich game got down in Turkey, I hope you guys approve!
